By accessing or using CommitSignal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. The service
CommitSignal analyzes repository activity and code changes to generate signals and insights for engineering leadership. The Service requires read-only access to the repositories you choose to connect. It never writes code, creates pull requests, modifies settings, or performs actions on your behalf.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must have the necessary rights and authorization to connect any repository or organization to the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service without prior written consent.
5. Data and privacy
Your source code is never stored in our systems and is never sent to external AI providers, LLMs, or third parties. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by CommitSignal and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your own repositories and data.
7. Termination
You may disconnect CommitSignal at any time and request complete removal of your organization's data. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these terms are violated.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CommitSignal provides high-fidelity signals and trends and does not claim absolute truth. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommitSignal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. The courts of Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.
